Plaza Premium Group’s First Air France Lounge opens at Montreal Trudeau Airport-The Moodie Davitt Report

Canada. Plaza Premium Group and Air France have teamed up to open a redesigned 490 square meter lounge for the airline at Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. The lounge can accommodate 149 guests and can be used by Air France Business and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers and Plaza Premium Group customers.
It is located in the international area of the terminal and has a large bay window with views of the runway, aircraft and Mount Royal, overlooking the city of Montreal. Inside, there is a main lounge area, shared work area, shower facilities, and free WiFi and USB sockets that all customers can use. Flying Blue Ultimate customers can use a more private space with large sofas and seats.
At the center of the lounge is a dining area centered on French cuisine. The self-service buffet offers hot and cold, savoury and sweet dishes, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. The large bar also offers French wine and champagne.
The elegant lounge has a strong Air France brand identity and is jointly developed by the airline and Plaza Premium
In the fall, the lounge will launch a special catering service in the “Night Service” area before the last evening flight from Montreal to Paris Charles de Gaulle. Guests can choose the same French cuisine that is served on the boat, and provide restaurant-style service on their seats. These eligible customers will provide appetizers, hot dishes, cheeses, desserts and a wine and champagne list. If they request, their plates will not be loaded on the flight to reduce food waste. Passengers can still enjoy another meal on board.
Air France prefers local and seasonal products in its catering services, which the partners call an “ecologically responsible approach.” In addition, in order to limit the consumption of disposable plastic bottles, the airline provides its customers with water dispensers and plastic-free tableware. It also limits food waste, uses selective waste sorting and the recycling of dining utensils. The partners said that the shower facilities are also responsible for the ecology.
This summer, Air France has as many as 17 flights a week between Montreal Trudeau and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Moody’s Davit Report and Airport Dimensions jointly launched a publication called “Airport Consumer Experience”, which focuses on airport customer service and experience.
